Ted Williams hit a solo homer in the 3rd, and in the 4th it was Fisk again, with a solo shot to give him 2 HR and 4 RBI on the day. Alan Trammell added another solo home run in the 6th. Batting leader Ichiro Suzuki even got in on the fun, hitting a 2-run homer in the 8th off reliever Urban Shocker. Roy Halladay allowed just one run on 5 hits, striking out 8 in a complete game win. Suzuki finished 3 for 5 to raise his batting average to .365.
