Another Baseball Maelstrom season is in the books and what a season it was! The champion has been crowned and the winners sent home to decorate their trophy cases. The fans have been left with many exciting memories to recall over the offseason. League awards will be announced over the coming weeks, but while players head for vacations and the ballparks are empty, there is plenty going on behind the scenes. The offseason is a time for baseball's front office gurus to turn their attention to getting key players under contract, making key financial decisions and for laying the groundwork for next year's campaign.

Hank *Aaron* truly was one of the best to play the game and today he was enshrined into the Baseball Maelstrom Hall of Fame.
"It is an honor to be mentioned with the greatest players of all time. I want to thank my family, friends and teammates for supporting me throughtout this long career," the outstanding left fielder said at the induction ceremony.
Overall in his career, *Aaron* played in 3380 games with a .261 lifetime batting average. Among his 3047 hits were 511 doubles, 138 triples and 500 home runs. He also scored 1677 runs and drove in 1798 runs.
Hank *Aaron* retired from baseball at the age of 41. |  | Tuesday, October 29th, 2024: Christopher Borrego Latest BM HOF Inductee The baseball legends today welcomed to their exclusive club a new third baseman by the name of Christopher Borrego. His induction ceremony was held today at the Baseball Maelstrom Hall of Fame.
"I remember thinking to myself after I had had a couple of good years, that if I keep doing this, maybe I just might make it to the Hall of Fame. The dream became a reality today and I must say this is a very proud day today.
Over his career Borrego batted .315 and collected 2231 hits, 68 home runs and 870 RBIs. He played in 1792 games and retired from baseball at age 40.
His former manager introduced Borrego saying, "The big thing about Christopher is that he could hit any pitch. I don't mean only strikes. He could hit a ball off his ankles or off his ear." | | | | |
